SPCA Auckland and Animals Voice magazine has launched the Assisi Memorial Bear Kitchen campaign to raise funds to provide the bears at Animals Asia's bear sanctuary in China with a new kitchen. The resident bears have been rescued from bear bile farms and are lucky enough to live out their lives free from pain and fear and surrounded with love. Two years ago the kitchen was destroyed by an earthquake and the bears desperately need a new kitchen.
