Following an internship with DBPR, while completing her Bachelor
of Communications Studies at AUT University, Mikaila has now joined
the team full time as an Account Executive.
This role sees her manage social media communication, coordinate
reviews, plan events, write for and engage with media. Mikaila
works with a variety of clients including First Assistance,
Northland Emergency Services Trust, Mazda, Rayonier Matariki
Forests and Sony Ericsson.
What led her to PR was her enthusiasm for communication -whether
it is teaching speech to school children, learning new languages,
or writing media releases. Excited to be working across such broad
range of clients, Mikaila is enjoying every task thrown at her.
Beyond the office, Mikaila can be found with her nose in a Harry
Potter book, chasing her puppy Nellie or baking up a storm in the
kitchen much to the delight of the office sweet tooths.
