Caleb Brown

Although he already has 12 years in the workforce, it could easily be argued that his role as a communications consultant at DonovanBoyd is Caleb Brown's first "real" job.

How else would you describe somebody who's career to date has involved twice travelling around the world, including a Trans-Siberian railway crossing and time spent on the beaches of the fabled Greek Islands? Allegedly this activity was required research as part of Caleb's earlier career in hospitality management...

Having studied at AUT for a postgraduate diploma in communications and public relations, Caleb is a self-confessed gadget freak who "loves anything with lots of buttons and lights." (Let's hope that doesn't include traffic lights or he'll never get to the office on time.)

Taranaki-born and bred, Caleb kicked 2008 off by marrying his sweetheart Debbie at a ceremony in Thailand, with 50 family and friends there to witness the happy occasion. No doubt his experience in events planning and venue management came in rather handy.

Unlike Mr Boyd who claims to jog occasionally, Caleb actually runs several times a week and plans to complete a half-marathon event.

Caleb's other great passions are eating and drinking. "I have a passion for good food and wine; I consider myself a bit of a "naked chef" Jamie Oliver - I love to cook," says Caleb.

Just as long as he doesn't get his Naked Chef routine confused with his training runs, everything should be just fine then...
