Andrew brings to DonovanBoyd PR over five years of industry
experience in Auckland based consultancies as well as time spent
working with the national public relations representative body,
PRINZ. His expertise includes management of clients in the
telecommunications, IT, transport, music, property and primary
industry sectors. Andrew graduated from AUT in 2003 and holds a
Bachelor of Communications majoring in Public Relations.
Andrew works across a diverse portfolio of clients with DBPR
including Sony Ericsson, Canon, Direct Property Fund, Rayonier
Matariki Forests, First Assistance, Northland Emergency Services
Trust and HRV. His passion for writing, knowledge of traditional
and social media and commitment to delivering results has seen his
clients secure major media placements in print, radio and
television for a number of major national campaigns.
Outside of the office, Andrew has substituted a love of travel -
having spent several years living in Argentina and Japan - for a
love of domesticity, DIY and a busy family life. He and wife Alaina
stay busy with a full house of two rowdy dogs, a cat and the recent
arrival of their first baby, Noah.
Like the rest of his sports mad family, Andrew loves anything
competitive and fills his time watching anything from rugby to the
UFC. However, with the big 30 fast approaching and the chances of
an All Black call up fading with each day, Andrew is looking
forward to playing a slightly less illustrious role in a Presidents
Grade (read: Old Man's Grade) rugby team in the coming years.
